How SEOSFT works

Everything an audit does, how we score it, and what to do when something does not look right.

Run your first audit

  • Create a project with your website address and the country you target.
  • Start the audit. Most audits finish in a few minutes; you can close the page and come back.

How the score works

Every check gives a score from 0 to 100. The overall score is the average of the checks that ran. A check that did not run (for example a check outside your plan) is shown as “not measured” and does not pull the score down.

  • 80–100 good
  • 50–79 needs work
  • 0–49 poor

Scores are a way to track progress, not a Google metric. Google does not publish a score; we measure the things that affect how it crawls, understands and ranks your site.

The checks

“Measured” checks are computed in code from your pages and public data. “AI review” checks are judged by an AI model with fixed instructions. For Content, the AI extracts the facts and the code computes the score.

Action plan and AI prompts

All problems from all checks go into one list, ranked by their effect on Google Search, then by effort. Each fix has steps and a ready prompt for your own AI assistant.

  • The prompt contains your site, the problem, the steps and the exact output to ask for: JSON-LD, robots.txt lines or new page text.
  • Copy prompt works everywhere. ChatGPT and Claude open with the prompt filled in. Gemini opens empty; the prompt is already copied, so paste it.
  • The prompt tells the assistant not to invent facts about your business and to mark what you must fill in as [PLACEHOLDER]. Check every fact before you publish.

Troubleshooting

  • Every page shows as blocked. Your robots.txt returns a server error, or blocks all crawlers. Crawlers treat a 5xx robots.txt as “crawl nothing”.
  • The audit failed. Run it again from the report page. If it fails twice, the site may block our crawler; contact us.
